Lifestyle of a Studio Artist (title)
I thought of this topic because it is about the profession I want to follow. I spend a lot of time with the grad students on campus, and they give me an insight to what life is like as an artist. Also all the art proffessors on campus are studio artist when they get free time from teaching. The topics discussed in my paper would include finances, living arrangements, daily schedule, competition, inspiration, and how each artist interviewed would describe success. Most of my research would come from interviews, I will include both new to the profession aswell as artist who have stood the test of time.
Ultimate Frisbee: A true love of the game (title)
I like the idea about researching Ultimate frisbee because it plays such a big part of my life. I spend atleast ten to twelve hours a week pretaining to Ultimate. I have been involved in the sport for two years now, and think i have a pretty good grasp of the sport. Angles I will cover in this paper include travel, team unity, training, spirt aka sportsmanship, and photos. Research will come from the few books written on this sport, also internet blog groups aswell as interviews of players and coaches.
Soccer: Greatest sport ever played, unless your from America (title)
I just started to play soccer, and i'm completely hooked. It's awesome! But why doesn't it seem to be popular in the states. I watch a lot of soccer on tv of european matches. The stadiums over there are always packed and energetic. I would compare between America's post popular sports vs. European's favorite. I would address the stereotypes Americans have put on soccer. My research would come from newspaper articles, magazines, interviews, and other text.
